Building strong foundations in analytical thinking, computation, modelling, and simulation for modern science and engineering - alongside formal education
INTRODUCING BAXT COLLEGE
Baxt College is the education and research-readiness arm of the Baxt Group brand.
Cohort Begins: January 2027
Mode: Online & Blended
Baxt College is a research-focused academic initiative dedicated to strengthening analytical reasoning, computation, modelling, and simulation for modern science and engineering.
The College complements formal education by cultivating computational fluency, mathematical maturity, systems thinking, and research discipline.
Baxt College is a non-awarding institution. Participants receive Certificates of Participation or Completion. The College does not confer degrees and does not compete with universities or polytechnics.
OUR ACADEMIC STRUCTURE
Programmes are delivered through three specialised centres.
1. Centre for Computational & Scientific Learning
Orientation: Computational foundations for scientific inquiry.
Develops disciplined problem formulation, scientific programming, numerical reasoning, and simulation-based investigation.
Purpose: Establishes the analytical and computational backbone required for advanced study and applied research.
2. Centre for Complex Systems & Applied Modelling
Orientation: Systems analysis and structured modelling of real-world phenomena.
Applies mathematical and physics-informed approaches to interconnected natural, engineered, and socio-technical systems.
Purpose: Connects computational capability to societal and industrial application.
3. Centre for Quantum & Advanced Physics Education
Orientation: Modern physics and quantum science with computational integration.
Develops conceptual clarity in quantum mechanics, quantum information, and related advanced areas of physics, supported by strong mathematical structure and computational modelling.
Purpose: Cultivates theoretical rigor and computational maturity for advanced study and research-intensive scientific environments.
Participation
Open to analytically inclined secondary students, university students, postgraduates, early-career researchers, and professionals in science and engineering.
Engagement is flexible and designed to complement ongoing study or professional work.
Mode of Delivery
- Online programmes
- Blended academic sessions
- Research-oriented workshops and short courses
